Tumbling Gymnastics
Tumbling, sometimes referred to as power tumbling, is a gymnastics discipline in which participants perform a series of acrobatic skills down a 25 meter long sprung track. Each series, known as a pass, comprises eight elements in which the athlete jumps, twists and flips placing only their hands and feet on the track. Tumblers are judged on the difficulty and form of their routine. There are both individual and team competitions in the sport..
Here at Milton Keynes we have foam pits at the end of the tumble track instead of a landing area, this allows for safer ways to learn new tumbling skills. 5x Olympic trampolines and 1 15meter fast track.
Milton Keynes tumbling has been going on in our club for as long 25 years and we are home to 4x world champions. Training in tumbling can be as simple as coming in for fun and to learn tumbling in a safe environment or to compete at low or high level.
All abilities and ages are welcome to come along and trial. Please email Tumbling@mkgym.co.uk for any enquiries.
